Using the RemoteSpark PC application, users can manage their assets in their personal library. They are able to add and remove assets, download them, and organize them into folders. These assets can then be leveraged by the user either in a call as the PC user or via the Palm Panel while using the HoloLens application.
When in the Library on the PC, users can view the following libraries:
- Common: available to all users, this library contains training assets to help familiarize the user with RemoteSpark. These assets are viewable in the PC app while outside of a call, shareable within a call, or available via the Palm Panel on the HoloLens.
- Personal: the Personal Library contains all of the user's personal assets, including photos taken while using the HoloLens application. These assets are able to be managed in the PC app while outside of a call, shareable within a call, or available via the Palm Panel on the HoloLens.
- Organization (Org): this library contains assets specific to the user's organization. These assets are managed by the organization administrator. These assets are viewable in the PC app while outside of a call, shareable within a call, or available via the Palm Panel on the HoloLens.
Supported file types: .PDF, .glTF and .JPEG
To upload an asset: click '+ Add' and select the file from your computer that you wish to upload.
To create a folder: click '+ Add Folder' and give the folder a name.
To add an asset to a folder: first create the folder, navigate into that folder, then upload the asset. Note: assets cannot currently be moved from one folder to another after being uploaded.
Note: organization administrators can also manage their Organization's Library using the PC application and the same principles as the Personal Library detailed above.
