How do I cache assets to the HoloLens?

Any assets that are downloaded to the HoloLens are immediately cached to the device. Deleting them from your workspace does not clear them from the cache. This means that the next time you try to load the asset via the Palm Panel or that the asset is sent to the HoloLens from the PC, the asset will load instantly as it does not need to download a second time.


Exiting RemoteSpark or closing the application does not clear the cache and the assets will be instantly available to the HoloLens user during future uses.


Note: Logging out of RemoteSpark on the HoloLens clears the cache and all assets will need to be re-downloaded regardless of whether or not they appear in your workspace as a Touchstone or on your Palm Panel.
