Recovery Mode / Hardware Reset (ARGO)

  1. Power Off the Device
    • Hold the Power button for about 10 seconds until the device shuts down completely.
  2. Enter Recovery Mode
    • Press and hold the Power button + Scroll Wheel simultaneously.
    • Keep holding until the boot/recovery screen appears.
  3. Navigate in Recovery Mode
    • Use the Scroll Wheel to move through options.
    • Select “Wipe data / Factory reset” by pressing the Scroll Wheel.
  4. Confirm Reset
    • Scroll to “Yes” and press the Scroll Wheel to confirm.
    • The device will erase all data and restore factory settings.
  5. Reboot
    • After the reset completes, select “Reboot system now.”

Important Notes:

  • This process will erase all user data, apps, and configurations.
  • If the device is MDM-managed, it may re-enroll automatically after reboot.
  • Ensure the battery is at least 50% charged before starting.
