Web Client version (preview)

For the best possible experience with the RemoteSpark Web Client, it is recommended that you use the latest possible version of any of the following browsers:

  • Android: Google Chrome
  • iOS/MacOS: Safari
  • Windows: Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge

Note: at the time of launch the Web Client is not available in the following regions:

  • China
  • Russia
  • Iran

 

Licensing and product requirements per role

RemoteSpark Expert user (Desktop and Web Client versions)
  • *No license requirement.

RemoteSpark remote user (HoloLens)

 

* All users of RemoteSpark on the desktop or web version have an Expert license by default and can support RemoteSpark video calls with any remote users (RemoteSpark on HoloLens). There is no need to purchase or upgrade the license.

** The Microsoft Store is the preferred way for RemoteSpark users to install and receive ongoing updates to the application for the desktop and HoloLens versions. Alternative installation options are available in some cases, please contact Kognitiv Spark Support for further information.

*** By default, all HoloLens users of RemoteSpark have a Trial license with limited features (maximum 4-minute video calls, etc.). For full-feature trial options, please contact Kognitiv Spark Sales for further information.

Network requirements

The recommended minimum bandwidth requirement is at least 256 kbps.

Video calls may be possible with upload or download speeds below 256 kbps, but you may experience feature degradation.

Where possible, when using RemoteSpark in low bandwidth environments, make sure to initiate RemoteSpark video calls with a low-bandwidth mode.
