What is a RemoteSpark Gallery?

A RemoteSpark Gallery is a repository for 3D models and documents that is stored on the RemoteSpark Server (for most deployments, this means they’re stored in Microsoft Azure).

These objects can be accessed and shared from the expert side of a RemoteSpark video call to remote users, or can be viewed as a standalone object by the remote user.

Note: for steps on sharing a Gallery item in a video call, see here.

There are three different kinds of galleries in RemoteSpark:

  • Standard Gallery: a repository of pre-loaded 3D models that are provided by Kognitiv Spark and are freely available to any user of RemoteSpark
  • Personal Gallery: a repository tied to your RemoteSpark user account. Any user can upload objects (3D models and documents) to their Personal Gallery.

Supported file types

  • 3D models: see this article for accepted 3D model formats
  • Documents: .pdf

Standard Gallery

The Standard Gallery is a repository of pre-loaded 3D holographic models that anyone can access in RemoteSpark.

This Gallery is updated by Kognitiv Spark and are available for all users to share in RemoteSpark calls or view on the HoloLens.
