In response to user feedback and real-world scenarios we have designed a palm panel lock feature to offer enhanced control and prevent inadvertent summoning of the palm panel.
When The Palm Panel is Locked:
Palm gestures no longer trigger panel summoning, unless a voice command is issued like “Show Panel”
Automatic dismissal of the palm panel is disabled until the lock is deactivated.
How to lock and Unlock the Palm Panel?
You can lock the palm panel by either air-tapping or touching the lock button on the palm panel. You can also use the “Lock Panel” voice command.
To unlock the palm panel, simply air-tap or touch the lock button again or use the voice command “Unlock Panel”.
What can you still do when the palm panel is locked?
You can still press the "X" button on the Palm Panel to close the palm panel.
Interactions such as receiving a call, pinning a contact to the scene, or adding content from the panel remain unaffected when the palm panel is locked.
